As a migrant business owner, I understand the struggles and hardship that comes with starting a venture from the ground up in unfamiliar territory – defining the goals that drive the business, meeting and working with new people, realising the risks that needed to be taken, and finding the strength to carry on with the challenge. 

Over time, I realised there are thousands more who share this journey. With over 620,000 migrant-owned businesses in Australia (83% of which only started after moving here), there is so much to learn from migrant business owners that should be shined upon and celebrated.
